it's a two post day!

Earlier, I was doing my DT duties for one of the blogs I design team for... I saw an image that I just had to have, which had been entered in the challenge by one of the artists design team, and whilst i was at it I thought I may as well make a card up for the sketch challenge that went with it!

so here is my entry for the sketch challenge at from the heart stamps- unfortunately without the twist as I don't have pencils, just my copics.

The Image I have used is 'martini chicks'

I made an A5 (uk size) card blank out of hot pink card,
matted with green,
and added a knit pattern bluish paper

the second layer is a green floral paper matted with pink.

papers came from so far back in my stash I no longer remember what they are!

but the die is a spellbinders edge die from the parisian collection
also used are :
Glossy Accents
pink star patterned grossgrain
a dazzler gem

BG49, BG13, BG15

Rachel with Apple of my Eye for karleigh sue digis!

Hello everyone! I hope you are well... I have a stinking cold brewing and am feeling utterly miserable... everything tastes of cardboard and I'm all sniffly :(

however I'm happy because I have been playing with the fab 'apple of my eye'  from Karleigh sue digis  for today's inspiration make.. she is so cute and perfect not just for valentines, but birthdays and anniversaries too!
I love this image because I have a real thing for apple blossom- my husband and I got married on May 1st the day before our first born's first birthday, as I find may day a magical time.. and the apple blossom did not dissapoint, all the trees in the orchard where we held our reception were in bloom, and looked wonderful!

you can get this image from the karleigh sue digi shoppe on etsy !
and if you fancy owning this card , it is available over on my Gotshop shop  where Cheri lets me sell my creations so that I'm not buried in a fallen house of cards! :)

to make this card I used:
Copics: E000,E00,E21,E11,E04,R20

Wheeeee! it's new release time of the month again!

I always get excited about this day... I have been with Cheri at Karleigh Sue digi shoppe since the beginning- I requested one of her first images to colour up and have never looked back... she is one of the greatest friends I could have that is divided from me by a rather large stretch of water...

and her images just keep getting better and better....

I think this one may have been slightly my fault too - you already saw 'koality' time .. yea.. I'm kinda to blame for that too!

this one is 'my bunny sweater'
and you will find her in the karleigh Sue Digi Shoppe on ETSY

I coloured this image in copics and promarkers- both the pink and purple tones are promarker... though i am kicking up my heels in joy as I have some pink and purple colour combos in COPICS arriving at some point.. so I don't have to swap and change any more!

also used are:
spellbinders lacy circles
tim holtz movers and shapers heart dies (from two different sets)
sizzix photo corners die
prima pastels paper from that craft place
Tim holtz tea stain distress ink
hot pink cardstock
white super smooth colouring cardstock from that craft place
pearlescent pink cardstock

please do hop on over (if you've not seen them yet) and look at the other new releases on the Karleigh Sue Blog!
