wheeee a LOT going on at rick st dennis, that craft place AND karleigh Sue Digi shoppe!

Hi there everyone, it has been an extremely busy and exhausting month, but I think I have managed to cram some pretty awesome stuff into it, and Today as well as being 1st of the new month  is the start of two new challenges on two different blogs!

the new challenge that starts today is mothers day/anything goes.
I have made a tag using 'sugar mum' from the that Craft Place etsy Store

I coloured sugar using my copics - R08, YR07 YR14. and YR21 for the hair,
and G99,G94,and G21

I made a greyboard tag and ran it through one of my cuttlebug embossing folders- I had to do this once from each end as it was too large to fit!

I then used my ink tool and brushed the whole area with tim holtz distress ink in winter berries from that craft place,
to this i added the die cut clipboard I made using my mini clipboard movers and shapers sizzix (tim holtz) dies - into which i slipped the coloured image, after colouring the top and bottom parts with a N6 and N4 copic)
I adhered it to the grey board with triple thick (also available from that craft place)

I fussy cut some of the mothers day sentiments that are available in the TCP etsy store, and added triple thick to those too to add dimension.
I finished off by adding some tim holtz movers and shapers hearts, raffia twine, stickles, liquid pearls and buttons from my favourite  papermania vintage notes pack
(you guessed it, ALSO from TCP)
a little green 10mm grossgrain and a rivet in the top hole.

this creation is for my mum and I hope she likes it. I'm sure she will as she seems to like anything I deign to make her ;)

There is also some new releases at the That Craft Place etsy shop.. this is my card using back to work Betty!

to make this card I used copics:
black cardstock
dovecraft monochromatic papers
sizzix scalloped die
sentiment created by myself
and holographic gems

Rick St Dennis MFA Digital stamps are also starting a new progressive challenge today, with the theme 'easter' this is hosted over on the Sparkle and glitter blog

you can enter any new project as long as it contains a Rick St Dennis image and fits the theme! this time around the theme is Easter

Here is my colouring inspiration using ' my little chickadee

This gorgeous little chick balanced on his painted egg is so gorgeous... and real fun to colour using fine flicks to mimic feathers!

I used a lot of copics in this image...
the body of the chick is done in YR07,YR14,YR21
the beak is YR23 and Y21
his little legs are BV29 and BV25
flower is again YR23 and Y21

Egg is:

Bv29,BV25, BV13, BV04

grass is YG17,YG23

ad a touch of N2
the papers are from the prima 'hello pastel' pack which i bought from that craft place the other month
as is the green sheer ribbon
the little heart gem is an old one i had floating around.
the sentiment is computer generated :)

I do hope you will go and play
